I am a third-year Journalism student with a minor in Human Rights & Social Justice at Carleton University. I am a dedicated writer with a keen interest in international politics. I would describe myself as an observer; someone who notices out of the ordinary details. I was a competitive dancer for 12 years resulting in ambition, perseverance, and a drive that turns criticism into motivation. As a team leader, I honed my ability to manage people with varying needs from a young age. I am learning to best collaborate with others in order to highlight all of our strengths as the Social Media Director for HerCampus Carleton. I understand the importance of building a presence online as a means of advertisement. I mastered my time management skills in my dance career and as a team leader and so I thrive in a demanding environment. I am a fast learner with strong listening skills, an innate dedication to the truth, and whole a lot of courage.
